Plastic Injection Moulding

We produce thermoplastic components in our injection molding machines with a lock force from 50mt to 1300mt. All machines are equipped with robotized automation cells for component handling and assembly. The components are typically used as surface class A interior or exterior components for heavy trucks or passenger cars.

Injection moulding

Preciform AB has the opportunity to offer injection moulding in all forms of thermoplastics from PP to exclusive materials such as PEEK. In our facilities, there are machines up to 1300 tons and we can produce parts up to 4 kilos, which gives a width in the segment we operate in. By continuously upgrading and developing our facilities, we follow the development and modernization of the injection moulding industry.

2K injection moulding

Several different types of material can be used in the same detail all to be able to combine different properties, softness’s or colours for optimal product design.

Metal inserts

A process where a part of metal is cast into the injection-moulded parts where manufacturingin most cases takes place with a high degree of automations which requires extreme demands on precise robot movements. Together with competent partners we have developed efficient production processes. In this type of production we have great benefit from our knowledge of tool design, our collaborations with skilled tool makers located in both Asia and EU.

Prototypes

Getting quickly from idea to prototype to finished product and onto the market is important. By creating prototypes gives you the opportunity for improvements in the detailed design and problems can be identified before the end product is developed. This gives you a better decision basis with reduced risk of errors as well as shorter lead times and lower final costs. Preciform AB has two 3D printers available for prototypes.
